The Reporter Module is the right choice when you do not only want to analyze your company data warehouse with DataScope, but also want to share the analysis results with your colleagues or clients through your company Intranet or Internet site.

With the Reporter Module, you can export your analysis project results into HTML format. This HTML report is highly customizable using software options or by modifying XSL style sheets. You can include general project information and also chart specific information such as comments, legends, tooltips and so on.

Naturally, the exported charts in HTML documents are not as interactive as in DataScope itself, but the charts can be read well with the help of the tooltip functionality similar to DataScope's. This technique is based on JavaScript code, which is supported by all current web browsers. If you leave the mouse pointer on a data element (a segment of a pie chart, an item in a scatter diagram), you get detailed information about it in a small tooltip window.

If you want to export not only the graphical analysis results but the underlying data too (either imported or created in DataScope in various ways), you can export all or a selected portion of the project data table into XML format (which is a common Web database format). An XML file can then be formatted for the Web browser clients by using XSL style sheets. XML files can also be imported into other database systems or applications.

The Reporter Module excellently works together with the AutoExporter Module, which allows generating the HTML reports (and database exports) on scheduled or event based way.
