Integrate DataScope with SPSS Clementine DataScope, with its unique interactive visual exploration features, can be a useful extension to existing data mining systems also. Traditional data mining softwares focus on the algorithms and other data transformations, while exploring the current data table, opening interactive charts on various fields is not that easy. A new module in DataScope connects it into the popular SPSS Clementine data mining software. This module uses DataScope Integrator features and also contains several Clementine External Module Interface (CEMI) scripts. If you have Clementine installed on your computer, you can install these scripts into Clementine. Now you can open any of your existing data mining projects or create new ones; the installed scripts will place new components on your palettes (in the Graph and Output categories). You can place a DataScope node into any places of the data stream (where the required number of the needed field types exist, for example there is no reason to put a numeric scatter chart onto a stream where there are no numeric fields). When executing the stream, DataScope will pop up with the required chart on the current data table. However, the displayed DataScope is fully functional and the project contains all passed fields, so you can even do a complete data exploration before returning to Clementine and use the collected background information on the current table in the further analysis. If you have Reporter Module installed also, you can end your Clementine analysis with a state-of-the-art DataScope HTML report with various graphs and extended notes collecting your findings in the combined analysis. This report can be updated from Clementine any time, either by activating DataScope or using it silently in the background, using the DS Refresh node in the toolbox.
